John Fellios is the principal and video editor of his company, Yanni's Digital Productions. His company's project focus is to tell people's life stories using interviews, photos, personal videos, and music. John has a Bachelor's Degree in History from CSU San Marcos, and a minor in Film Study. He also holds a Certificate of Achievement in Digital Video and has a certification in Avid video editing software. He interned at JDS and KOCT as a video editor in 2020 and returned to KOCT as a video editor and programmer intern in January 2021 after a COVID hiatus. John was later promoted to part-time as a KOCT employee video editor and programmer. John’s passion for video editing and his eagerness to learn all new editing programs and techniques enable him to produce the most authentic and valued products he can create for his clients. Additional software knowledge includes Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Final Cut, and Pro Tools.
John's devotion to learning, improving, timeliness, and excellent productivity are some of his greatest strengths. Importantly, he actively listens to stakeholders and coworkers and understands how to incorporate feedback for the best possible product. For John, there is always room for professional growth. In addition to his academic and work achievements, John earned the highest rank of Boy Scouts with the Eagle Scout award which reflects his hard work and perseverance.
